One size fits all?
I had the opportunity to visit Fairplay and look at their one room schoolhouse. It made me reflect on whether we still teach in the same manner as the early school marms taught in the 1800's. What is the same? What is different? This prepared me to critically think about my upcoming presentation at International Society for Technology in Education (#ISTE2017). My goal is to train educators, technologists in Universal Design for Learning but am I too stuck in the past. So I begin my journal with reflecting on UDL and its practice. I also decided it is time to further hone my skills with Google tools. The purpose being to better serve students that I interact with at school. This is a never ending task because technology changes, teenagers change, needs change. But I hope to post here with some great ideas to support learning wherever you are in your JOURNEY...
